Janis’ resourceful nature and expertise at a management level peaked at its best when she seized the opportunity to use her skills and expertise to launch into her own search consulting business following the economic meltdown after 9/11.

Janis’s commitment for continuing education and lifetime development is demonstrated by her completion of numerous sales, leadership and executive programs including MOHR Development in New Jersey, Northwestern University in Chicago and York University in Toronto.

In the rare moments she isn’t devising matchmaking strategies, Janis gets absorbed in her latest creative muse—jewellery making. She also enjoys foreign films, reading, her two Korat cats and a passion for exploring new cultures and making new friends around the world. Her love of travel and adventure has taken her high in the sky in a hot air balloon to journey for 40 kms over stupas, temples and ruins in Bagan, Burma! Other exciting ventures have included trips to Havana, the Caribbean, France, Malta and Thailand—and more recently a trip on the Nile and Sinai Peninsula in Egypt.
