IT MindFinders is conducting a search for one of our exceptional and long term clients for a Senior Project Manager with ERP implementation experience.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Senior PM will apply the principles of service excellence in the management of assigned projects and engagements.
Specifically, the Senior PM will be responsible initially to oversee a large ERP vendor application implementation that includes setup, installation, implementation and training to all project team members.
The Senior PM will interact with project sponsors, managers and other project managers throughout the client’s organization as well as with Partners and Affiliates to provide project consulting to ensure the alignment of projects within the corporate strategic direction.
Ideally the Senior PM will have a diverse business knowledge having project managed a minimum of two ERP implementations involving large project teams that involved cross departmental teams.
Required functional knowledge includes budget planning, cost control and capital/expense approval and management procedures with financial analysis and business case development experience being preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Foster and encourage a team environment with the necessary depth of commitment to respond to dynamic and often unpredictable deadlines and priorities

Work with other project managers and the implementation team to manage program and project interdependencies

Provide accurate and timely program performance reporting to CEO

Manage stakeholder expectations

Manage the day to day tasks and activities of the implementation including the technical side of the implementation

Ensure that the scope of work is well defined and implemented

Establish, build and update project plans and monitor actual work progress against plans

Manage risks and issues across the project lifecycle

Identify change issues related to ERP

Vendor management - ensure contracted services are met by the implementation partner

Facilitate resource availability with implementation partner
MUST HAVE SKILLS

Post secondary or technical school degree

Project Management Certification or equivalent work experience

Experience managing a minimum of two ERP implementations

Competent with MS Project

Superior negotiating, communication and interpersonal skills

Broad knowledge and expertise in technology focused business practices

Demonstrated success at influencing people at all levels in large organizations

Functional knowledge of budget planning, cost control and capital/expense approval and management procedures required

Financial analysis and business case development experience is desired

Preference will be given to candidates with financial services and/or financial institution experience.
