Janis Strathearn is a Search Consultant and Associate of IT MindFinders. She has more than fifteen years experience as a hands-on hiring manager. With a proven history in identifying and selecting talent, Janis has built, developed and led award winning, high performance sales & operational teams.

Janis’ background includes senior roles in sales, marketing and operations with both product and business services organizations. Additionally, she has won successful solution sales projects for IT consulting firms.

A strong believer in continuing education and lifetime development, Janis has completed numerous sales, leadership and executive programs including MOHR Development, New Jersey, Northwestern University, Chicago and York University, Toronto.

Janis has a solid understanding of today’s employment challenges in the ever-changing IT workplace environment. She recognizes that a combination of experience, interpersonal skills and business acumen complete the skill package required to produce results and provide companies with their competitive advantage.

Janis' approach to search consulting is the same as working with an IT project. She begins with discussing the opportunity, gathering requirements and identifying possible solutions before presenting the short list of candidates.
