Position:  Manager, Project Managers

Position Description:

IT MindFinders is conducting a search for a Manager, Project Managers on behalf of our client located in Richmond, BC.  Reporting to the Director of Services, the Manager, Project Managers will be responsible for the following:

• responsible for overseeing the team’s work, providing support and implementing large, complex projects
• ensures a high level of customer satisfaction and employee satisfaction
• provides guidance/coaching to Project Managers and Integration Specialists
• conducts performance reviews
• oversees team projects (e.g. con-calls, issues, configuration, obstacles, scheduling, planning, organization and deliverables)
• creates training programs for team/department 
• screens, interviews and recommends potential candidates for hire  
• assists with creation of new policies and ensures adherence to policies
• recommends resolutions to project issues, suggests actions to improve customer satisfaction and employee satisfaction, company procedures, solutions to installation problems
• required to oversee up to 20 people
• strong technical, troubleshooting, coaching, training and interpersonal abilities
• team player, good organizational and planning skills
• proven track record of successful projects and adherence to policies
• strong project management skills

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree and/or diploma in Information Technology, Education or related experience

• At least 5 years management/supervisory experience in a high-tech company 
• Strong project management abilities 
• Strong computer skills
