Position: Network Administrator

Position Description:
IT MindFinders is currently conducting a search for 2 Network Administrators for our client located in downtown Vancouver . Reporting to the Director of IT, the Network Administrator has the mandate to ensure that all corporate systems operate as reliability and efficiently as possible. The Network Administrator accomplishes this with the assistance of the other Network Administrators and by working with our client’s IT Associates. This customer facing position requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Must Have Skills and Requirements:

• Ensure the effective implementation of major system changes at corporate office.

• Maintain infrastructure security and data integrity;
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of all IT systems, infrastructure, processes and procedures;
• Work closely with IT Director to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective and innovative technology solutions throughout the organization;
• Analyze and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of IT systems;
• Assist with strategic planning, development, implementation, and evaluation for all hardware, and software requirements encompassing all electronic voice and data systems;
• Responsible for quality, cost-effective use of resources;
• Responsible for timeliness of project implementation against established targets;
• Prepares regular progress reports to IT Director of project and departmental activities;
• Provide end user support (help desk, etc);
• Assist with the development and management of the IT budget.
