Technical Opportunities

IT MindFinders' is conducting a search for a Solutions Architect on behalf of a client located in downtown, Vancouver. The Solutions Architect is responsible for pre-sales and some post-sales support of our client's cloud based application solution. In a pre-sales capacity, they must be able to understand the customer's requirement and determine whether the application is a valid solution for the customer. From an implementation and post-sales perspective, they must work with our customers IT personnel to understand the nature of the issue and communicate to the customer how to resolve the issue. They must be able to work a flexible schedule supporting our worldwide customers. Ideal candidates will have strong technical capabilities combined with account management skills.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conducts technical discovery calls in the pre-sales phase explaining the application's capabilities to the prospective clients
• Provide support for proof of concepts
• Troubleshoot setup and support issues live over the phone and/or WebEx
• Receives and responds to emails and calls from customers in a timely and professional manner
• Opens all Support cases (email & phone) on the CRM system
• Collaborate with Product Management/Engineering around usage, product issues, and feature requests.
• Composes and adds to frequently asked questions (FAQ), knowledge database, and training videos
• Leverages support test environments to quickly duplicate issues the customer experiences
• Work a flexible schedule to support our customers outside of business hours

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• BS computer science or equivalent degree, at least 4 years experience with enterprise-level software systems in a client-facing role
• Experience with common open source systems such as web and application servers, databases, etc
• X509 Certificates, Windows, Unix, Linux
• Web-based application consulting and support
• Experience with at least one of the major app server environments
• Proficient in debugging Ruby, Python, C#, PHP, .NET and Java code
