Position: Senior Integration Engineer
Location: Vancouver, BC
IT MindFinders is conducting a search for a Senior Integration Engineer on behalf of
our client located in Vancouver, BC. Reporting to the Project Director, the Senior Integration Engineer will be responsible for providing solutions to field issues, exploring beta releases from Microsoft and other vendors, and sorting out deep configuration issues for unique running environments. As part of a high-output agile development team, the Senior Integration Engineer's role would also include participation on product development threads.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works closely with customer support team to provide specialized expertise focused on resolving system issues found with Microsoft and other vendor systems.
- Staging and reconstruction of field reported issues.
- Liaison activity between product development teams and customers.
- Defining and determining the configuration of Java-based solutions in a MS system
- Proving detailed insight to security-specific information and knowledge insight
- Developing and enhancing integration kits for integration with new 3rd party environments.
- Developing sample applications to demonstrate new features
- Providing hands on training for field personnel
- Support development community
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Has a minimum of 7 years of systems and systems security related experience within large-scale Microsoft and Linux environments
- Experience with at least 1 or more of the following: Integrated Windows Authentication (IWA), Kerberos, NTLM, Protocol Transition (S4U2Self), Constrained Delegation (S4U2Proxy), Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), Windows Identity Foundation (WIF), PKI, and Identity Access Management (IAM)
- Knowledge of Citrix and .NET an asset
- Must possess solid problem solving skills and to share insights with team members, and to work customers through learning curves
- Must have current Java development experience
- Knowledge of modern scripting languages a plus
- Strong interpersonal communications skills
- Shows attention to details and is known for tenacity in driving to answers and solutions
- Ability to work in a lightweight process environment including requirements and test planning documentation.
- Capable of high performance in an agile environment
- Self-motivated and works with minimal direction
- Takes ownership of tasks and executes
- Self-starter able to mentor and grow other team members.
- Must be able to learn quickly and independently and be capable of gathering information and understanding complex features/environments.
- Must have a BSCS or equivalent formal training
