Job Description:
IT MindFinders is conducting a search for an Account Manager for the Security practice of a BC based company. The successful candidate will work together with the Senior Business Development Manager and be responsible to identify and pursue sales opportunities within the company’s internet security practice. An appropriate level of technical understanding will provide the successful candidate with the ability to identify and competently qualify opportunities that result in a realistic pipeline with a successful closure ratio.

Must Have Skills Required:  

  • A minimum of 2 - 3 years directly related work experience and sales results in a customer facing environment
  • Demonstrated achievement of quota attainment with strong territory management experience
  • Sales targeting and sales development skills
  • Ability to listen, understand and qualify business requirements into security product and service delivery solutions
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and written presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • High energy and a strong desire to achieve
  • University Degree in Business and/or Computer Science

Compensation plan includes base salary and commissions. The successful candidate should anticipate a targeted income in excess of $80K+.
