Position: Senior Account Executive

Position Description:
IT MindFinders is looking for a Senior Account Executive for the Vancouver branch of our Calgary client. The ideal candidate will have several years experience with enterprise level accounts selling professional services and the accompanying hardware and software that will complete a data protection solution. Preference will be given to the individual that has developed a local reputation as being a trusted advisor.
This Vancouver based role required very limited travel. Being a ‘hunter, this role will add net new business to the region while managing an existing territory of approximately $5m. Professional Services business and are seeking dynamic individuals who are focused on developing new business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new business within the BC Lower Mainland and Okanogan Region
- Further develop existing accounts by promoting additional services and products
- Work with product vendors to in furthering partnerships and customer relationships
- Develop and coordinate preparation of proposals
- Assist in general marketing activities
Must Have Skills:
- Minimum five to seven years of infrastructure sales experience (Storage)
- Proven ability to prospect and develop new business within medium and enterprise level accounts
- Strong negotiation skills combined with a positive attitude and energetic approach
- Excellent verbal and written presentation skills
- Self-motivated, independent and highly entrepreneurial
- Strong account management and customer development skills
