Position: Strategic Account Manager

IT MindFinders is conducting a search for a Strategic Account Manager for the Vancouver head office of a Vancouver based organization with five Western Canadian branches. Our client provides small and medium sized businesses with LAN and WAN consultation, advice and direction, network connectivity, network security, storage, data base migrations and services, technical support services and hardware procurement.
Reporting directly to the Director of Sales and Marketing, the successful candidate will be responsible for the management of up to 6 Key and High Profile Accounts within the company's portfolio of business.
We are looking for an experienced Account Manager with excellent communication skills and well-developed/proven customer relationship management experience.
Responsibilities:
- Senior level account management of the company's highest profile clients
- Develop sales strategies, account plans and manage forecasts that attain monthly sales objectives
- Maintain detailed and organized client files, weekly sales reports, forecasting pipeline, network contacts, CRM and other job related paperwork
- Manage sales action plans including targeting accounts, key account personnel, competitive analysis, account background and tactical steps to win business
Must have skills:

Minimum 5 years sales experience with major named account responsibility

Post secondary education in marketing, business or computer science

Excellent spoken and written English language skills

Microsoft Office Computer skills
-
Experience managing monthly / quarterly and annual sales quotas

Strong time management skills with the ability to effectively direct and organize work activities

Experience interfacing with all levels within a client’s organization structure from IT purchasing to CEO level.

A solid understanding of the SMB space is necessary
