Position: Data Center Operations Manager

Position Description:
IT MindFinders is conducting a search for a Data Center Operations Manager for our Vancouver based client. The successful candidate will have previous experience managing a minimum of 10 direct reports in a complex network environment with more than 200 servers. The successful candidate must demonstrate their ability to foster an environment that seeks to continually improve and deliver top-notch service to its customers. Reporting to the VP Technology, this individual will provide guidance and direction as well as the development of long and short range plans for data center operations. Strong people management experience is required for effective leadership, goal setting and change management. Preference will be given to those individuals who can articulate and demonstrate specific accomplishments in managing individuals within a changing environment.

Must Have Skills and Requirements:

• Post secondary education at the university or college level
• 8-10 years IT management experience
• Solid understanding of technology in a business environment
• Management experience within a 24x7customer focused environment
• Extensive exposure to data center operations and capacity management disciplines
• Vendor management experience
