Position Description:

IT MindFinders is conducting a search for a Client Services Director (CSD) for our Calgary-based client that develops, markets and supports web-based applications for the global health care sector.  Their IT solution is a highly innovative web-based product that allows real time management of home care contracts between integrated health jurisdictions and contracted vendors.  The company is dedicated to creating advances in client care & privacy, infrastructural productivity & decision support reporting while ensuring positive change is delivered all the way through to the 'front-line' professional's daily tasks.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the CSD will be responsible to deliver consistently superb client-centric support and project management services in a way that achieves solid client outcome.

This position carries line responsibility for all aspects of change management, process standards & support services to corporate clientele across the company’s product offering. This role will sit on the Senior Management Team (SMT) along with the CEO, VP of IT and VP of Business Development.

Reporting to the CDS are the company’s Help Desk and Client Training resources.  It is anticipated that the Client Services team will expand significantly over 2005.

The CDS will work closely with VP of IT, VP of Business Development and the company Controller.  Because the senior team is small and the organization’s growing revenue demands, multiple team relationships are required around company and client decision making. The CDS will also interact with Client Directors of Community Services, Project Leads as well as front-line clinicians.

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

  • A valid passport and ability to travel is required as company travel is anticipated to be in the range of approximately 20 - 30% – ranging from day trips to International initiatives.
  • Contributes as a SMT team member in strategic & tactical planning to deliver on the Corporate Vision & Mission
  • Supports a safe, positive work environment for staff within department & across firm. 
  • Recruits – trains - monitors and motivates highly effective staff as required within Client Services portfolio delivering annual Performance Reviews
  • Maintains personal dialogue/accountability with key client executive to advance the profile & acceptance of the company’s product offering
  • Ensures the ongoing training & product knowledge of department staff; preparing them for growth within firm
  • Participates directly in the development of Preliminary Project Analyses as required to support process review – mapping and project management planning/oversight.  (direct involvement in assessment – mapping – project management)
