IT MindFinders is conducting a search for an Implementation Specialist on behalf of our client located in Richmond, BC. The primary focus of this position is to coordinate the installation and implementation of an imaging system into numerous hospitals and clinical environments. To excel in this position candidates must possess in-depth technical knowledge coupled with excellent people skills and be experienced in managing multifaceted installations at customer sites.
The Implementation Specialist will ensure that installations are completed on time and to the satisfaction of customers. Moreover, they will be required to investigate and resolve computer software and hardware issues as well as work directly with and coordinate activities of Integration & Application Specialists. Sound project management, communication skills and hands-on technical skills are required.
This is a demanding position requiring someone with excellent problem solving skills and who can resolve technical and workflow issues while managing multiple responsibilities. Travel is required throughout North America (50% or more).
Must Have Skills and Qualifications:
Experience working to project/deliverable deadlines
Team player with excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Strong presentation/demonstration/teaching skills
2-3 years experience in architecting, implementing and supporting Enterprise Microsoft technologies (Windows NT/2000/2003/XP, A/D, GPOs, Clustering)
Strong understanding of enterprise server hardware installation/configuration/deployment
Strong understanding of enterprise networking equipment, disk imaging/cloning techniques, scripting and software deployment, and systems infrastructure
Proven ability to analyze and solve hardware and software problems
Education:
Bachelor of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Computer Technology background
Technical certifications are an asset (MCSE, A+)
