Reporting to the Senior Web Applications Team Lead.

• Ensures system integrity, compliance with policies, maintains high levels of availability and ensures adherence to security standards

• Supports the business owners of the web presence

• Assists in testing, performance and security reviews of web systems

• Identifies opportunities for additional web applications and supports eCommerce initiatives

• Acts as a consulting resource to business users and translates business requirements into technical requirements, design specifications and alternatives

• Provides high quality customer service levels

• Develops supporting documentation, integration and system processes

• Maintains web URLs and SSL certificates required for the operation of internal and external web sites and applications

• Supports non-technical web authors and monitor web site usage and trends

• Must be willing to travel up to 20%

Must have skills :

• Post secondary degree or Technical school graduate  - preferably including a recognized web development or multimedia certificate program or MCDBA, MCSE or MCSD

• Minimum 8 years IT experience with 3 – 5 years experience in developing / programming web sites using W3C standards in web development and design

• Minimum of 3 years experience with SQL and Microsoft IIS

• Strong knowledge of operating systems, network and communication services/standards

• Visual Studio 6 – VB, C++, Visual Studio 2003 – C#, ASP.Net, HTML, DHTML, JavaScript

• XML knowledge XPATH, SOAP, XSLT with experience

• COM/ COM+ development, knowledge and experience with DCOM and/ or .Net remoting

• SQL 7/ 2000 development and optimization N-tier development experience

• Knowledge of how web architecture interacts with firewalls, routers and switches

• ISA Server, IIS 5/ 6 – optimization and security specifically relating to .Net

Nice to have skills:

• Background in design and/or visual arts is desirable

• SharePoint 2003 –design/ build of web parts, BizTalk 2004
