Position: Senior SAP ABAP Developer

Position Description:
IT MindFinders is conducting a search for a Senior SAP ABAP Developer on behalf of our client located downtown Vancouver.
As a member of a highly skilled SAP team, the Senior ABAP Developer is accountable for SAP sustainment activities and will:
· Provide senior level ABAP development and support;
· Provide strong ABAP programming skills to maintain and support the following modules: SD, WM , PM, MM and FICO;
· Monitor, diagnose and take corrective action on the SAP system as required;
· Support SAP system interfaces;
· Be part of a team to implement major SAP development projects;
· Undertake and manage project lifecycles through to support based on customer specifications;
· Technically document SAP system enhancements and business processes;
· Follow SAP “best practices” including change/problem/relationship/service-level management;
Requirements:
· SAP 4.6C or higher and at least 6 years experience working
· University degree or relevant technical diploma
Development Skills:
o ABAP & ABAP Objects
o ALV, Dialog Programming, Standard
Reporting
o Smartform, SAPScript
o IDOCs, RFC, BAPI
o BADIs, User-Exits, Enhancements,
Modification Assistance
o Workflow
· EDI or Papinet experience would be advantageous
· Canadian citizen or landed immigrant status
