• Providing leadership and vision of our platform and application architecture.
• Partnering with Program Managers and development teams to gather all requirements to formulate appropriate architecture required to provide system functionality, deciding when to advocate and when to compromise to arrive at a mutually acceptable solution.
• Collaborating with the rest of the Architecture team to define and maintain the architecture.
• Understanding the long-term business objectives and suggest technical strategies to meet those objectives by introducing innovation through technology.
• Working with the development team to translate our software architecture into design.
• Implement the necessary process and procedure to ensure that architectural best practices are adhered to.
• Recommending enhancements and identifying new architectural and technology requirements to Product & Program Management organization where applicable.
• Demonstrating strong team work and fostering strong team dynamics and a cohesive working environment; which includes mentoring less experienced colleagues that may be local or offshore.

Must Have Skills and Requirements:

• Bachelor or Masters Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 7+ years experience in application design and development, previously in a senior developer or architect role.
• Excellent knowledge of software development methodologies and processes and have lead large scale software development projects
• A track record that includes the design and release of secure enterprise application platform technology.
• Development experience using Windows .NET framework class libraries and are an experienced C# and C++ programmer with object-oriented analysis, design, and application development expertise with strong expertise in UML & Use Cases.
• Superior communication skills.
