Position: Training and Software Coordinator

Position Description:

IT MindFinders is conducting a search for a Training and Software Coordinator on behalf of our client located in Richmond, BC.  The role of the TS Coordinator is to ensure that our client's software products are thoroughly tested and documented, customers are adequately supported and the Marketing and Sales teams possess necessary sales data.  In addition, this individual will establish, maintain & execute training programs for all staff with regard to software and technology tools including but not limited to Microsoft Dynamics Navision, Microsoft CRM & Microsoft Office.

Responsibilites:

  • work with Sales to ensure they have tools to sell software
  • work with Marketing to communicate software features and instructions to customers and gather marketing intelligence
  • work with Operations to ensure a cost efficient & accurate delivery of software
  • work with Marketing to initiate and maintain customer shopping carts and provide backend website support
  • work with department heads on a continuous basis to identify training requirements to ensure staff are trained to utilize software & technology tools effectively & efficiently.
  • ensure technical support is provided efficiently and accurately and that issues are escalated as required.
  • ensure Marketing and Sales teams are trained on software features and specifications.
  • communication of product development milestones, planning and lifecycle issues to department heads as required.
  • ensure quality assurance procedures are in place to ensure product works to specification and that issues are resolved quickly.
  • ensure technical support statistics analyzed to identify bugs and proposes solutions to same.
  • ensure registration server functioning and data collected and distributed as required.
  • ensure documentation for technical support, software development and training programs are complete and up to date.
  • maintain company software licenses.
  • maintain training documentation

 

Planning

  • create testing protocols for software testing both in development and delivery stages.  Plans testing procedures to be carried out both within projects and during production of software.
  • plan and schedule internal software training
  • plan and schedule documentation and software delivery in connection with software launches.
  • create internal calendar and schedules training sessions.

Execution

  • manage all aspects of delivery of customized software product including meeting with Sales and/or customer as applicable to determine requirements, coordination of programming services, supervision and/or execution of testing & quality control, supervision and/or execution of customer technical support.
  • document quality assurance effort for software and, through testing, identifie and document software defects, functional and aesthetic inconsistencies and make recommendations on how to improve software usability & functionality.
  • complete and maintain documentation of technical support procedures, FAQ’s
  • execute quality control on master cd’s for customers
